Utsuwa-no-yakata (House of Pottery) was founded in Los Angeles by Shinji Nimura after coming to America in 1981, with the mission to introduce beautiful Japanese tableware to the world. About half of their products are handmade in small kilns in Japan, so each piece is a unique creation.
